Video. Why is the county paying the cost to upgrade a water main from 2 inches to 6 inches? According to the County Engineer, so they can expand development onto US 84. In other words, to spend public taxpayer funds to subsidize private development.

Video. It’s from Madison Highway to Inner Perimeter and Copeland Road to reach Lowndes Middle School, so as to avoid that School making a deal with Valdosta for water and sewer, plus assuaging the county’s fear that Valdosta might annex the area.

Video. It’s to support the jail. The City of Valdosta and the Crime Lab have access to some of the information because the county houses inmates for the city.
