Mr. Lofton.

Let’s remain focused on the health risks associated with your biomass project, the most important issue for our community. (WACE will deal with other claims you make, yet can’t back up with scientific studies, on January 13.)

The only thing the public has received in regard to your claim that biomass is safe are your “assurances” and the testimony by a hired gun, who is not even a medical professional, and who also could not back up his claim. No scientific studies. No statements by medical organizations. No links to scholarly publications. Nothing.

At the same time,

WACE has shared with you and the community plenty of scientific studies and statements by medical organizations to establish the simple fact that biomass indeed bears significant health risks (because it is neither “clean” nor “green”). In other words, the community did not just receive “assurances” or an “opinion” from WACE, but scientific facts as established by the ALA, ACS, AHA and many other entities.

Now, simply admit that you do not have scientific studies or statements by medical organizations that support your claim that biomass is “safe”, or finally attach some of recent date to your next email to give us your proof.

If you can’t, which seems to be the case, it is simply time to stop your biomass project and focus our efforts on creating truly clean jobs and smart economic growth for our community.

Best regards, Michael G. Noll.

Mr. Lofton.

The dictionary defines the word *proof* as: “any factual evidence that helps to establish the truth of something” … and in your case your claim that biomass is “safe”.

In other words, if you have any proof for what you say, now is the time to produce it, and for EVERYONE to see.

Please attach any scientific proof you may have to an email and share it with the group.

Dr. Noll,

For the third time now, you are welcome to sit down with us in person and we will go through all of our proof with you. Despite your frequent appearances before the City and County, and though you claim to be an expert, you have not attended a single meeting of my board in three years nor have you sat down to discuss this project with our staff. I’m not sure what you are afraid of. Our number us 259-9972. I will not debate you over e-mail.

Have a nice night sir.

Mr. Lofton.

What part of *proof* do you not understand?

Either you have it, and share it with the group via email as a *.pdf or *.doc file … or you don’t (which apparently is the case) and you simply admit to it.

Members of WACE (including my wife) have communicated with you for months via email; members of WACE (including Natasha Fast) have already met with you months ago; members of WACE (including myself) came to your panel on December 6, etc., etc., etc.

What would be the point of another meeting, another email, another phone call … if none in the past have produced any scientific proof, any conclusive evidence that biomass is safe?

Perhaps you are afraid of the simple truth that biomass is NOT safe?

Best regards, Michael G. Noll.

Dr. Noll-

This will be my last e-mail to you. I will be pleased to sit down with you at your convenience to discuss the project in detail and provide the information you desire. Seems like a pretty fair offer to me.

Thanks,
BL
