The source document didn’t say who’s currently on those boards,
but I’ve added links to other sources where those could be found.

Region 4 ha a Regional Planning Board:

The Region Four Planning Board represents 24 counties in the region.
Members are appointed by their county commissioners; they are
business and civic leaders with a strong interest in mental health,
developmental disabilities and addictive diseases as well as
consumers or family members of consumers.

Greater Lowndes Planning Commission

• Jody Hall- Term expires 10/13/14

• Vacant seat- Diondra Nichols resigned

GLPC has a nominating committee that is currently looking at around three
candidates for the Diondra Nichols slot.
Her term expired in 2014 anyway, so one can guess that this would
be an appointment to a full five year term.
According to
the City of Valdosta’s GLPC web page
Jody Hall’s term was 2013-2014, presumably brief because he was appointed
to replace somebody else.
The other Lowndes County appointiees are:
Tommy Willis (2010-2015) and
Franklin Bailey (2013-2018).

Valdosta-Lowndes County Conference Center & Tourism Authority Board

• Commissioner Evans- Term expires 12/31/14

• Gerone Anderson- Term expires 12/31/14

The

Tourism Authority’s website says:

The VLCCCTA was created in 1999 under the provisions of the State of
Georgia for the purpose of establishing, maintaining and operating
the conference center and providing for tourism services. The entity
is a jointly governed organization between the City of Valdosta and
Lowndes County. The board of directors is composed of ten members.
The City appoints four members and the County appoints four members.
The City Manager and County Manager sit as Ex-Officio members on the
board.

The Authority is funded through lodging taxes assessed by the City
of Valdosta and Lowndes County. While the City and County fund the
Authority via lodging taxes, they do not retain an ongoing financial
interest or responsibility in the organization.

The Board meets in open session on the 4th Wednesday of every month.
Meetings are generally at 8 AM but can be verified by calling the
Authority at 229-245-0513.

Valdosta-Lowndes County Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals

• Vacant seat as of 6/30/14

The

City of Valdosta’s web page on this board
says the expiring seat is Tommy Radney’s, the terms are for three years,
and the other two county appointees are Randall Crews (June 2016)
and Jim Scruggs (June 2015).
There’s also seat that rotates between city and county appointment,
but I don’t know which one that is.
Hm, all the terms expire in June, so the county is late to appoint
somebody.

Purpose:

The Valdosta-Lowndes County Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals is responsible for reviewing and deciding specific appeals made by individuals concerning the interpretation or administration of the Construction Codes.

KLVB’s board list
says there’s a vacant Lowndes seat expiring in 2016.
It also says Nick Hinson’s term expires in 2014.
Hinson

withdrew his name two weeks ago
He works for Wild Adventures,
so I predict somebody else who works there will be appointed.
And the KLVB board list says the other county appointees are:
