Based on the TRC meeting this morning please find this month’s TRC rezoning recommendations and current analysis below or attached to this e-mail. 1) REZ-2013-08 MFH Tract A, 0181 025B & 0181 027, Roberts Rd, 123.45 ac., MAZ I to Residential PD, 184 lots, County Utilities a) The TRC recommended approval of the request with 1 condition by a 4-2-1 vote. Planning and Zoning voted against the motion and the Board of Health abstained from voting. (1) The proposed condition was as follows: The rezoning shall be approved per the July 8th 2013 letter. (For reference, the letter has been attached.) (2) This case received considerable debate and discussion. The main portion of the debate focused on the conditions of approval and the approval of the request as presented or proposing an alternative request. The alternative request focused on rezoning the property to MAZ II instead of Residential PD. Ultimately, this alternative was not accepted by the applicant or the majority of the TRC. 2) REZ-2013-09 Moody Family, 0072 191, Val Del Rd, 64.92 ac., 2 lots, R-1 to Residential PD, County Utilities a) The TRC recommended approval of the request unanimously. b) Additionally, although not a proposed condition, it should be noted on this request that a future traffic study will be required. Acceleration lanes/Deceleration lanes and/or a dedicated left turn lane may be required. 3) REZ-2013-10 Stubbs, 4794 Stubbs Lane, 0069 063, 1.19 ac., 1 lot, E-A to R-1, well/septic a) The TRC recommended denial of the request unanimously. Please expect physical copies of this e-mail and the attached materials to be available at the meeting Monday night. Thank you. I thought that it was a good idea for the reasons stated. I was finally contacted by Balfour Beatty last Thursday and was told that they were NOT interested. So the deal was dead anyway. I was very surprised by the attitude of some of the attendees this evening and the realization that this was a BRAC issue with the USAF at the Washington level. I certainly was never told that by the local base if I had I never would have bothered submitting the rezoning application. Balfour Beatty has played their hand very well. Having been awarded the privatization two years ago and now state they MUST close before September 30th or the USAF will lose the funding. I hereby withdraw the rezoning application for the 123+ acre tract for MFHLLC> Thank You, and again I apologize for taking up your time, Roger Sevigny Allen Engineering part 7 message/rfc822 30K Date: Tue, 23 Jul 2013 14:11:37 EDT To: 'Jason Davenport' cc: 'Joe Pritchard' , "Jefferson, Robert Civ USAF ACC 23 CES/CENP" , 'Trinni Amiot' , 'Carmella Braswell' , 'Mike Fletcher' , 'Mike Allen' , 'Shannon Walker' , 'Lloyd Green' , ***"'Ted Bilak'" , 'Roger Sevigny' , "Eunice, John L III Civ USAF ACC 23 CES/CD" ***, "Albritton, Patrick M LtCol USAF ACC 23 CES/CC" , "Jefferson, Robert Civ USAF ACC 23 CES/CENP" , "Bryan, William S Civ USAF ***ACC 23 CES/CEN" From: "Nichols, Diondra R Civ USAF ACC 23 CES/CENPP" Subject: RE: OCGA 36-66-6 Request - REZ-2013-08 - MFH Tract 'A' Rezoning MIME-Version: 1.0 In-Reply-To: <7E45B5BE502AE4439F1D7C12F453495780EF0E2B@COPERNICUS.lowndesco.lowndes ***county.com> References: <1C814DCCC27AB549A9E2CD4D8359A4A40E899D@CYGNUS.lowndesco.lowndescounty ***.com> <7E45B5BE502AE4439F1D7C12F453495780EF08B4@COPERNICUS.lowndesco.lowndes ***county.com> <7E45B5BE502AE4439F1D7C12F453495780EF0E2B@COPERNICUS.lownde ***sco.lowndescounty.com> X-Note-AR-ScanTimeLocal: 7/23/2013 2:12:18 PM X-Policy: lowndescounty.com X-Policy: lowndescounty.com X-Policy: lowndescounty.com X-Policy: lowndescounty.com X-Policy: lowndescounty.com X-Policy: Too many policies to list X-Primary: jpritchard@lowndescounty.com X-Note: This Email was scanned by AppRiver SecureTide X-Note: TCH-CT/SI:0-108/SG:2 7/23/2013 2:11:46 PM X-Note: SCH-CT/SI:0-1344/SG:1 7/23/2013 2:12:10 PM X-Note: Spam Tests Failed: X-Note: User Rule Hits: X-Note: Global Rule Hits: G319 G320 G321 G322 G326 G327 G434 X-Note: Encrypt Rule Hits: X-Note: Mail Class: VALID X-Note: Headers Injected X-Virus-Scan: V- X-Note-SnifferID: 0 X-GBUdb-Analysis: 0, 132.3.37.20, Ugly c=0.291963 p=-0.411765 Source Normal X-Signature-Violations: 0-0-0-23389-c X-Note-419: 125.0064 ms.
