If we<br \/>\nstand for anything as a party, what are we afraid of with the lady<br \/>\nhaving a camera, filming us? What are we saying here that shouldn&#8217;t<br \/>\nbe on film? What message are we sending? That because it&#8217;s private<br \/>\nproperty they shouldn&#8217;t be filming? What is the harm?\n<\/p>\n<p>\n&ldquo;The harm that occurs post-this is far greater than her<br \/>\nfilming us. What are we hiding? If we are telling you why we are<br \/>\nrunning and what we stand for &mdash; what are we hiding? There is<br \/>\nno reason for that. That is not right. It is private property. The<br \/>\nproperty owner has the right to not have the person there. Who&#8217;s the<br \/>\nwinner in the long run? Not a good move.&rdquo;\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\nHudgens had been bragging about business in the great state of Georgia.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m not sure this incident will help attract business.<\/p>\n<p>\nGov. Deal claimed afterwards he had nothing to do with it,<br \/>\nbut he was there, and he did nothing to stop it.<\/p>\n<p>\nLawton Sack wrote for Peach Pundit 25 August 2014,<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.peachpundit.com\/2014\/08\/25\/carter-calls-out-deal-over-removal-of-video-journalist\/\"><br \/>\nCarter Calls Out Deal Over Removal of Video Journalist<\/a>,<br \/>\nthat a press release from Jason Carter&#8217;s campaign for governor<br \/>\nsaid:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nGov. Nathan Deal refused to intervene, or even criticize the forcible removal of a video journalist from an open campaign event, even as the state&#8217;s top law enforcement official condemned the move.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\nGalloway followed up for the AJC today,<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/politics.blog.ajc.com\/2014\/08\/27\/how-a-plan-to-keep-a-gop-rally-off-the-internet-went-awry\/\"><br \/>\nHow a plan to keep a GOP rally off the Internet went awry<\/a>,<br \/>\nnoting if a private venue wanted no videoing, the proper thing<br \/>\nwould have been to announce that up front.<br \/>\nBut they didn&#8217;t, it was advertised as a public campaign event,<br \/>\nTisdale was invited.<br \/>\nShe even advertised the event on social media for a week in advance, including posting on all the candidates&#8217; facebook pages and the venue owners&#8217; facebook page saying she was coming.<\/p>\n<p>\nNobody did anything to stop anybody else from recording,<br \/>\nincluding<br \/>\nBrian K. Pritchard of fetchyournews.com<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fetchyournews.com\/archives\/19628-Video-Journalist-Forcefully-Removed-From-Republican-Meeting!.html\"><br \/>\nwhose sound recording and still pictures<\/a><br \/>\nare why we know what happened.<\/p>\n<p>\nPritchard says Bearden later tried to blame it on the property owners,<br \/>\nbut Pritchard never saw the property owners anywhere near Tisdale.<br \/>\nIn an audio interview Pritchard did with Tisdale, she says she<br \/>\ntalked at length with one of the property owners, Kathy Burt, before the event<br \/>\nand explained who she was and what she did.<br \/>\nNonetheless, Tisdale was taken to jail and her camera confiscated.<br \/>\nShe was charged with obstruction of justice and criminal trespass, and had to post several thousand dollars bond to get out the next day.<br \/>\nWhich seems especially odd given that she says Kathy Burt<br \/>\nasked the deputy to let her drive away.<\/p>\n<p>\nJon Richards wrote for Peach Pundit 27 August 2014,<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.peachpundit.com\/2014\/08\/27\/another-side-of-the-nydia-tisdale-story\/\">Another Side of the Nydia Tisdale Story<\/a>,<br \/>\nquoting venue owner Johnny Burt as saying he had told the deputy<br \/>\nto remove her and claiming Tisdale attacked the deputy with the camera and slapped him.<br \/>\nRichards blames Tisdale, claiming she wanted to be a martyr.<br \/>\nWhich wouldn&#8217;t explain why only Tisdale was ejected, and not Pritchard, who was sitting two rows behind her with his recording equipment clearly visible.<\/p>\n<p>\nDoes any of this seem right to you?<\/p>\n<p>\nChet Martin wrote for Peach Pundit 26 August 2014,<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.peachpundit.com\/2014\/08\/26\/ag-olens-wins-nydia-tisdale-case\/\"><br \/>\nAG Olens wins Nydia Tisdale case<\/a>,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\nTwo days after Attorney General Olens made news for defending<br \/>\nvideographer\/activist Nydia Tisdale, Judge Robert Adamson ruled in<br \/>\nhis favor on her behalf.
