married, three kids;\r\nwants to see what&#8217;s going on around here.\r\nNo questions from Commissioners; motion by Raines; second by Evans; unanimous approval.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nChairman Bill Slaughter said he had served on that board\r\nand there was a lot of good work to be done there.\r\nVickery volunteered from the audience that he could hardly say not since\r\nSlaughter had twisted his arm.\r\nWhich tells us what the Commission didn&#8217;t: Vickery knew\r\nabout the opening because he was hand-selected by the Chairman.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<li>\r\n<a name=\"Public-Hearings\" href=\"#Public-Hearings\">\r\nPublic Hearings<\/a>\r\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha\">\r\n<li>\r\n<a name=\"REZ-2014-13\" href=\"#REZ-2014-13\">\r\nREZ-2014-13 Nelson Hill Subdivision, Val Del Rd., PD Amendments, Water\/Sewer, ~100 acres<\/a>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\n[Work Session Start 1 minute 1 second.]\r\nCounty Planner Jason Davenport said the applicant had already withdrawn\r\nthe communications tower part and now they had stated in writing that\r\ndue to negotiations they had accepted various conditions\r\n&#8220;that you have in your notebooks&#8221; The members join\r\ntogether in contributing towards the ACCG &mdash; IRMA Fund, which\r\nis dedicated to providing cost-effective risk financing, greater\r\nstability, more flexibility, and quality loss control services. The\r\nFund is owned by its members and is managed by a seven-member Board\r\nof Trustees who are representatives from participating counties.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nRemember the county has this liability insurance next time they say\r\nthey have to vote for a rezoning because the developer might sue.\r\nThey don&#8217;t: they&#8217;re insured for that.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\n[Regular Session Start 59:57]\r\nCommissioner Raines said he thought it was a very good policy,\r\nmoved to renew it with option 2 to increase deductible and decrease premium\r\nfrom $615 to $565.\r\nChairman said he wasn&#8217;t sure there would actually be any savings\r\nfrom that because claims had been high lately.\r\nRaines said he thought Beals had said the opposite the previous morning.\r\nThen he changed  his motion to option 1 for unchanged deductible and premium.\r\nMarshall seconded.
