REZ-2014-14 Roger Budd Jr<\/a>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qs9099swKYg&#038;index=7&#038;list=PLshUv86fYkiHNzh_upVM8VW8wOEUi2n48\">Video.<\/a>\r\nCounty Planner Jason Davenport said he had received no indications of any opposition.\r\nAnd one GLPC member asked the developer&#8217;s presenter whether residents\r\nof Francis Lake had been notified.\r\n<p>\r\nYet J.D. Carroll spoke against,<!--more--> complaining about truck traffic, lights,\r\nlessened recreational areas for an existing subdivision.\r\nAlso he did not receive a notice; the only people who received notices\r\nwere those who have property contiguous to the proposed rezoning property.\r\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">\r\n<a title=\"781x410 Location Map, in REZ-2014-14 Roger Budd in Lake Park, by John S. Quarterman, 27 July 2014\" src=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/add0f6cf619886b599c33debbc700a761.jpg\"><\/a>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nCounty Planner Jason Davenport said that was all the county was required\r\nto do by law.\r\nHe should remember that&#8217;s not the case: all state law requires\r\nis a sign out front and a notice in the newspaper.\r\nHe was the one who proposed to the Lowndes County Commission after\r\nwe circulated a county-wide petition asking for notices to be sent out.\r\nHe proposed sending to everybody within a fixed radius of the subject property.\r\nThe County Commission declined to do that, and decided only to send to\r\ncontiguous property owners.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nRobin Miller said she didn&#8217;t feel like she got any benefit from this,\r\nand her children who got off the bus there would be affected.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\n<a title=\"514x323 Current Zoning, in REZ-2014-14 Roger Budd in Lake Park, by John S.
