\r\nGeorgia Department of Transportation will host a 2014 Georgia state\r\nrail plan public meeting from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in the\r\nValdosta City Hall Annex, 300 N. Lee St.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nGeorgia Department of Transportation representatives are holding a\r\nmeeting Thursday in Valdosta to present the draft needs and proposed\r\nprojects, policies and programs of the 2014 Statewide Rail Plan and\r\nto receive public comments.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n… A short presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. For\r\nthose unable to attend, the presentation will be posted on the\r\nproject webpage next week with contact information for anyone\r\nwishing to submit a comment.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nThe 2014 Georgia State Rail Plan will be published in December. CDM\r\nSmith, a transportation planning and engineering firm, is assisting\r\nDOT in the plan’s development.
