\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nWhat’s really not sustainable?\r\nPromoting\r\n\r\nthe “Agenda 21” talking points<\/a> as an elected official,\r\neven in\r\n\r\nthe most corrupt state in the union<\/a> (Georgia<\/a>).\r\n

\r\nChip Rogers was top of the heap as the Senate Majority Leader,\r\nvoting for all sorts of stuff to hold Georgia back, from\r\n\r\neorgia Power’s nuke rate hike (CWIP)<\/a> SB 31 in 2009\r\nto sponsoring\r\n\r\nputting two constitutional amendments on the state ballot in 2012<\/a>,\r\nincluding one\r\nfor charter schools that would siphon off public school money).\r\n

\r\nThen he was caught\r\n\r\npromoting showing an “Agenda 21” talking point movie<\/a> to legislators in the\r\nstate capitol.\r\nHe decided\r\n\r\nnot to run for his statehouse seat again<\/a>,\r\nand instead got\r\n\r\nappointed to a cushy job at Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB)<\/a>\r\nbeing paid so much more than veterans there that one of them quit<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nNow according to Michelle Babcock in the Cherokee Tribune 4 May 2014,\r\n\r\nFormer state lawmaker Chip Rogers was fired from GPB for violating policy<\/a>.\r\n

\r\n

\r\n“You have violated several employment policies of GPB relating\r\nto political activity, outside or dual employment, time and\r\nattendance, teleworking and the code of ethics,” the letter\r\nstated.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nMaybe the downfall of Chip Rogers is one small step towards Georgia\r\nrising up off the bottom of the statehouse ethics heap.\r\n
