\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nThe\r\n\r\nannexation request for The Gardens was withdrawn<\/a>\r\n(perhaps because\r\nthe Lowndes County Commission had already explored\r\noptions for modifying it or just not annexing it<\/a>),\r\nand the\r\n\r\nrezoning for the Brookhaven apartments was very unpopular<\/a>,\r\nboth for Lake Park, plus\r\n\r\na Zoning Ordinance change<\/a>.\r\nThe twin\r\nHahira<\/a> cases to\r\n\r\nrezone<\/a>\r\nand then\r\n\r\nannex<\/a>\r\na lot on the east edge of town sailed through.\r\nNo city of Valdosta cases this time.\r\n
