Quarterman for Lowndes Area Knowledge Exchange (LAKE),\r\n<br>\r\nValdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia, 4 March 2014.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nHere&#8217;s the text she was reading:\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lowndesdems.org\/2014\/03\/03\/lowndes-county-democratic-committee-opposes-sabal-trail-methane-pipeline\/\">\r\nLowndes County Democratic Committee Opposes Sabal Trail Methane Pipeline<\/a><!--more-->\r\n<blockquote style=\"font-size:100%\">\r\n<p>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/lowndesdems.org\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lowndesdems.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/cropped-lcdp.bug_-150x150.jpg\"><\/a>\r\nValdosta, March 3, 2014 &mdash;The Lowndes County Democratic\r\nCommittee voted Saturday to oppose the Sabal Trail Methane Pipeline\r\nslated to run through Lowndes County.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nGeorgia Democrats believe we have a moral obligation to leave our\r\nchildren and grandchildren with an earth as safe, beautiful, and\r\nmajestic as the one bequeathed to us by our parents and\r\ngrandparents.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nThe Sabal Trail Pipeline is proposed to move Liquid Natural Gas\r\n(LNG) from fracking sites to Florida. Fracking is a known polluting\r\ntechnique, leaving behind undrinkable water and unusable earth.\r\nFlorida is the Sunshine State and could generate any needed\r\nelectricity from less expensive and more environmentally friendly\r\nrenewable sources of solar and wind.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nGeorgia Democrats believe in and uphold every citizen&#8217;s right to\r\nequal and impartial justice under the law.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nThe taking of privately owned property by a private company is a\r\nproperty rights issue. Putting corporations above citizens is not\r\nequal, nor is it impartial.
