Here&#8217;s <a href=\"\/blog\/2012\/05\/busy-schedule-lcc-2012-05-07.html\"> the agenda.<\/a> Here are <a href=\"\/blog\/2012\/05\/videos-lcc-2012-05-07.html\"> videos of the previous morning&#8217;s work session.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>They <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=h9utPEN8COo&amp;list=PLD66C8844F981B648&amp;index=7&amp;feature=plpp_video\"> unanimously reappointed four people<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gvvMvrTVjxE&amp;list=PLD66C8844F981B648&amp;index=8&amp;feature=plpp_video\"> <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\" class=\"at-xid-6a0120a58214e4970b016767540e9a970b\" src=\"\/blog\/images\/6a0120a58214e4970b016767540e9a970b-pi.jpg\"    \/><\/a> to the Lowndes County Development Authority. They held a public hearing about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gvvMvrTVjxE&amp;list=PLD66C8844F981B648&amp;index=8&amp;feature=plpp_video\"> abandoning part of an unopened right of way off US 41 South.<\/a> Nobody spoke either for or against, and they approved the abandonment unanimously.<\/p>\n<p>They heard several items we saw discussed at much more length in the <a href=\"\/blog\/2012\/06\/real-discussion-video-playlist-glpc-2012-04-30.html\"> GLPC 30 April videos<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zX2Wmk-P1vk&amp;list=PLD66C8844F981B648&amp;index=9&amp;feature=plpp_video\"> REZ-2012-05 Gloria Dave, 4896 Bethany Drive, Hahira, R-A to R-1, Well &amp; Septic, ~3.8 acres<\/a> <br \/> Gloria Dave asked for a rezoning so her property could be put in her name after her husband died. The Commission unanimously voted to rezone her property from R-A to R1 as she requested. <\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0frdhmx72zY&amp;list=PLD66C8844F981B648&amp;index=10&amp;feature=plpp_video\"> REZ-2012-06 Ralph Hart, Whitewater Road &amp; Clyattville Lake Park Road, Valdosta, R-A to R-1, County Water &amp; Septic, ~3 acres <\/a> <br \/> Unanimous approval. <\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=M42HA61pYYg&amp;list=PLD66C8844F981B648&amp;index=11&amp;feature=plpp_video\"> REZ-2012-07 McNeal Property, McNeal Road E-A to R-A, Well &amp; Septic, 25 acres<\/a> <br \/> The first speaker against from the <a href=\"\/blog\/2012\/06\/i-m-really-trying-to-develop-the-property-as-full-as-it-could-be-jason-davenport-glpc-2012-04-30.html\"> GLPC 30 April meeting<\/a> amplified what she said there. David Smith spoke for. Unanimous approval with the only-4-lot condition from GLPC. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They zipped through everything else on the agenda, approving everything unanimously, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=a1r29NWg1Nk&amp;list=PLD66C8844F981B648&amp;index=13&amp;feature=plpp_video\"> <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\" class=\"at-xid-6a0120a58214e4970b016767540ea0970b\" src=\"\/blog\/images\/6a0120a58214e4970b016767540ea0970b-pi.jpg\"    \/><\/a> including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=a1r29NWg1Nk&amp;feature=autoplay&amp;list=PLD66C8844F981B648&amp;playnext=13\"> a no-bid item for $60,354.32 to Scruggs Company.<\/a> There was some discussion about the need for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ksoIbtooqv4&amp;feature=autoplay&amp;list=PLD66C8844F981B648&amp;playnext=18\"> contract with an audit firm<\/a> they hadn&#8217;t used for three years.
