\n\n<\/a>\nNewsflash! “no new information” and “questions were resolved” about\nthe proposed abandonment of Old State Road at Hotchkiss Landing\non the Alapaha River, according to the Commission.\nThey vote tonight at 5:30 PM.\n<\/p>\n

\nDr. Bill Grow talked for fifteen minutes about\n\nSouth Health District<\/a>,\nand managed not to ask the county for money, although the Health Dept.\nclearly could use some.\nAshley Tye reported on\nlocal weather conditions<\/a>\nand the county’s Code Red<\/a>\nemergency warning system, in which lack of Internet access by\nsome county residents came up.\n<\/p>\n

\nIt’s J. Glenn Gregory again for the\n\nSouth Regional Joint Development Authority<\/a>\nand\nCommissioner Joyce Evans for the\n\nSouthern Georgia Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council<\/a>.\nThey are applying for a grant for the county’s MIDS<\/a>\nbus system and reapplying for a CDBG<\/a> grant for Second Harvest.\n<\/p>\n
