\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nMultiple people reported clearing work at the site of the\r\n\r\nMoody Family Housing project<\/a> on Val Del Road,\r\nwith its\r\n\r\nsinkhole next to an aquifer recharge zone<\/a>,\r\nthat\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nnot even \r\nMoody Air Force Base can get in to inspect<\/a>.\r\nSo we went out to look. There is clear cutting happening on Val Del Road (both sides) but it does not appear to be happening on the property slated for Moody Family Housing.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nThere has been clear cutting going on in the north of Lowndes County\r\nfor some time on large tracts near Skipper Bridge Road, Staten Road (near the\r\nnew river bridge) and on Val Del Road immediately south of the Moody Family\r\nHousing tract.\r\n

\r\nIt appears that most of those properties are owned by Natco LLC:\r\n

\r\nIt’s mostly woodlands, currently owned by NATCO LLC, which got it\r\nthrough a non-market zero-dollar transaction from W. Emory Waters, Jr.\r\nNATCO is\r\n\r\nregistered with the Georgia Secretary of State<\/a>.\r\nThe paper work is up to date and has been an active LLC since 1998,\r\nand its registered agent is W. Emory Waters.\r\nNothing particularly unusual there, nor with the other NATCO parcels.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nNow that Moody Family Housing plot on Val Del Road is owned by\r\n\r\nDasher Howard Company, Inc.<\/a>\r\nThat’s a different owner, and so far there is no action on that property that can be seen from the road. \r\n
