At the website you eRegister and they send you an email.\r\nOnce registered you can submit a comment on docket # PF14-1. Find\r\nbelow an example of a comment, feel free to copy any or all as you\r\nplease:\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nSabal Trail pipeline proposal poses a significant safety threat to\r\nour community through accidents. Leaks from such pipelines in the US\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nhave caused explosions and have destroyed homes and killed people 29\r\ntimes this year alone. Since the proposed pipeline is much larger\r\nthan any of these recent explosions, a pipeline of 36 inch radius\r\ncould do extreme damage if such an accident should occur in the\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nLowndes county area where it is proposed. Not only those living near\r\nthe pipeline but residences and businesses within a mile radius of\r\nthe pipeline are at risk.\r\n

\r\n\r\nSpectra has a record of violations leading\r\nto more than $50 million in fines and more than $8 million in\r\nproperty damage. Therefore, Spectra’s proposal represents a\r\nsignificant risk to our community and our residents.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nEven the installation of such a pipeline would be devastating to the\r\nlocal environment and to the property values of the land owners\r\ndirectly impacted and the surrounding properties.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n\r\nNot only is Sabal Trail pipeline a bad idea for the property owners\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nand the residence it would negatively impact the environment by\r\n\r\nputting at risk numerous endangered species; gopher tortoises, fox\r\nsquirrels, and red caucated woodpecker, in our area.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nIn addition, 7 counties in Georgia would be impacted by this\r\nproposed pipeline and no one in Georgia would benefit from the\r\nproduct being piped through it. We take all the risk and have NO\r\nbenefit.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n\r\nFinally, this gas pipeline as with every other pipeline supports the\r\ndestruction of clean water and clean air that occurs when\r\nhydrofracking is implemented to extract natural gas from the shale.\r\nHomes and lives are lost through this dangerous and extremely\r\nhazardous extraction method.
