We also measure the number of specific\r\nhigh-tech fields (out of a possible 22) whose concentrations in an\r\nMSA are higher than the national average.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\nIt&#8217;s worth remembering jobs and salaries are not everything:\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\nBest-Performing Cities is solely an outcomes-based index. It does\r\nnot incorporate input measures (business costs, cost-of-living\r\ncomponents, and quality-of-life conditions such as commute times or\r\ncrime rates). These measures, although important, are prone to wide\r\nvariations and can be highly subjective.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\nStill, which are the six LQ &gt; 1 high-tech companies in the Valdosta MSA?\r\nAnd wouldn&#8217;t a solar company help boost that?\r\nMore than\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/12\/spectra-reps-unfamiliar-with-spectra-fines-lcc-2013-12-09.html\">a pipeline<\/a>, anyway&#8230;.\r\n<p>\r\n -jsq\r\n<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Valdosta #51 of 379!
