In case you haven’t heard, one of the LAKE crew, Gretchen Quarterman, <\/a> is running for Chairman of the Lowndes County Commission. Today she’s at the Spirit of America Celebration<\/a> at Valdosta Mall (next to Buffalo Wild Wing). As you can see, she’s been practicing.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone who is entrusted with the resources of another human being or thing, you have to be a good steward of tax money, air, and water. They are entrusted to us and need to be handled with responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n

<\/a> She believes county citizens are most concerned with issues such as jobs, money and trash collection.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are the same things you see all the time. People expect services and they don’t get the services they are expecting and part of that is because they don’t know what to expect because the government isn’t accessible.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
