\r\n<\/a>\r\nWCTV isn’t just publishing Spectra press releases or sales pitches,\r\nunlike the Lowndes County Commission.\r\n

\r\n<\/a>\r\n“Gas needed to come from one point and end up at another. We looked\r\nfor those existing corridors that are already in place, to be able\r\nto run adjacent and parallel to those so we are lessening the impact\r\non stake holders and the environment and this path that we are\r\ncurrently on, is over 80% adjacent or parallel to those types of\r\nthings”, says Andrea Grover, Director of Stakeholder Outreach for\r\nSabal Trail.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nWell, no it doesn’t need to.\r\nSome fat cats in Houston and Juno Beach, Florida want to pump\r\nmethane through here for their profit and our hazard,\r\nbut that’s not the same as “needed to”.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nBut not everyone believes Sabal Trail has Lowndes County’s best\r\ninterest at heart.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n<\/a>\r\nThe proposed pipeline would run through Larry Rodgers’ property. He\r\nsays he gave Sabal Trail access to survey his land, but had to take\r\nback his invitation after surveyors supposedly trashed his property.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nRodgers says trash on his property is the least of the wrongdoings\r\ncommitted by Sabal Trail.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n<\/a>\r\n“I’m not sure that they’re providing all the information to all the\r\nproperty holders. They say they have 90 percent approval, which I\r\ndon’t really believe they do.”\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nResidents will have an opportunity to voice their concerns to the\r\nLowndes County Commission during “Citizens Wishing to be Heard” at\r\nthe Commission meeting on December 10 at 5:30 PM. The meeting will\r\ntake place on the second floor of the Lowndes County Administration\r\nBuilding.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nSabal Trail will host an informational meeting at Clyatville\r\nElementary School on December 16 at 5:30.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
