\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nHello,\r\nAt today’s EIC meeting, the committee voted on , and passed, the following statement that I am sending onto the\r\nExecutive Committee of the Faculty Senate.\r\n

\r\n“The EIC moved to agree to the following statement as a committee and to communicate it to the Executive Committee\r\nof the Faculty Senate for consideration:\r\n

\r\nThe EIC as a standing committee of the Faculty Senate supports the\r\nefforts of S.A.V.E. (Students Against Violating the Environment) to\r\nencourage the VSU Foundation to consider divesting from fossil fuel\r\nextraction-based investments.”\r\n<\/p>\r\n
