\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nWho’s responsible for the recent partiality in budget reports?\r\nThe newspaper, or its source of information, namely the county government\r\nat its secretive retreat on the Chairman’s private property that even the VDT reporter had trouble finding?\r\n

\r\nWhen\r\n\r\nthe Coroner<\/a>\r\nand\r\n\r\nthe Sheriff<\/a>\r\n(often\r\n\r\nat odds lately<\/a>)\r\nagree that\r\n\r\nthe VDT’s version<\/a>\r\nof\r\n\r\nthe county government’s remarks about their budgets<\/a>\r\nwas at best partial,\r\nwhere is the source of that partiality?\r\nWho’s responsible for budgeting for the county, reporter Matthew\r\nor editor Kay Harris or Dean Poling?\r\nOr is it the local government our taxes pay to do that job,\r\nnamely the Lowndes County Commission and its staff,\r\nwhich is managed by County Manager Joe Pritchard?\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nMaybe somebody down at the county palace should,\r\n\r\nas Gretchen suggested recently<\/a>,\r\n“check our work”.\r\n
