\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nThe big event was that\r\ncitizens<\/a> speaking about the pipeline got\r\nfour of five Commissioners<\/a> to come down and listen afterwards.\r\nAnd\r\nin a surprise addition to the agenda<\/a>\r\nD.A. J. David Miller asked for and got approval for a victim assistance program.\r\nAll this and\r\n\r\ninsurance<\/a> plan,\r\nhealth plan<\/a>,\r\na\r\n\r\nroad closing<\/a>,\r\na grant proposal to renovate the\r\nLibrary<\/a> (did the Commissioners get the whole\r\nboard packet<\/a> this time?)\r\nand let’s not forget a special performance on fire by\r\nChairman Bill Slaughter<\/a>,\r\nplus apparently\r\nthe County Commission is in charge of rain<\/a>\r\nlike it’s in charge of\r\nalcohol<\/a>.\r\n

    \r\nVideo.<\/a>\r\nThe evening’s Preacher Commissioner was John Page, with his usual “decently and in order”.\r\nAs a farmer, I also like the\r\n“blessings of rain”, but I’m not sure the Lowndes County Commission\r\nis in charge of that.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
