\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nThe candidates were almost unanimous on\r\n\r\nSPLOST VII<\/a> and\r\n\r\nhow to prevent JK situations<\/a>,\r\nbut more varied on other questions.\r\n\r\nRoy Copeland<\/a>, billed as “Valdosta attorney”\r\n(but perhaps known better to LAKE readers as VLCIA board member and former Chairman)\r\nwas the moderator,\r\nassisted by\r\nValdosta Fire Chief and\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\n\r\nThirty Club<\/a> member\r\n\r\nJ.D. Rice<\/a>.\r\nThey took questions from the audience and recognized their host,\r\n\r\nPastor Floyd Rose<\/a> of Serenity Church.\r\nYou may wonder as I do why city council candidates were answering\r\nabout graduation rates.\r\n
