\r\nThe Industrial Authority’s\r\nnew office is urgent enough for a special called meeting.\r\nInquiring reporter Gretchen is going to see what the fuss is about.\r\n

\r\nMaybe it’s just because this office search has had\r\nmore episodes than Star Wars<\/a>.\r\nBefore Roy Copeland was appointed to the VLCIA board, they were\r\nconsidering buying the old Board of Elections site from him.\r\nNow he’s even been Chairman twice and given that up, and they\r\nstill don’t have a new office.\r\nOr maybe it’s something to do with\r\n\r\nwho owns 103 Roosevelt Drive<\/a>.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nInterestingly, HG Pinnacle Properties, Inc. also owns the much larger surrounding lot,\r\n\r\n2318 N Patterson Street<\/a>,\r\non which\r\n\r\na Valdosta Electric trailer has been parked\r\nacross from the hospital for so long it shows up on Google Maps<\/a>.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nThere will be a Special Called Meeting of the Valdosta-Lowndes\r\nCounty Industrial Authority 12 noon Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the\r\nValdosta-Lowndes County Industrial Authority Offices.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nThe purpose of this meeting is to review bids regarding the\r\nrenovation and construction of 103 Roosevelt Drive.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n
