    \nthe Commissioners,
    \nthe alleged County Attorney, the County Clerk,
    \nthe Finance Director, and one or two other staff into the back room.<\/p>\n

    \nChairman Bill Slaughter divulged the purpose of the meeting so they could
    \nvote on it.
    \nThe decision was
    \n58% of SPLOST for the county and 42% for the cities,
    \nto be divided among the cities as they see fit.
    \nThe vote was 4 to 1.
    \nWhich is rather odd, since you can clearly hear Chairman Bill Slaughter voting ”
    \naye”
    \nand raising his hand.<\/p>\n

    \nThe Chairman
    \nisn’t supposed to vote unless there’s a tie.
    \nSince Commissioner John Page wasn’t present, a tie could have happened,
    \nbut it didn’t.
    \nAs you can see, only Commissioner Richard Raines voted against.\n<\/ol>\n
