Prayers do not match Commission behavior @ LCC 2013-09-10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=L9l-yoQ1pco&#038;list=PLshUv86fYkiHl4TBpgH7kwljIZWE5qVmE&#038;index=1&#038;t=35\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\" src=\"http:\/\/i1.ytimg.com\/vi\/L9l-yoQ1pco\/default.jpg\"><\/a>\r\nThe invocation didn&#8217;t match what the Commission did\r\nat\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/09\/videos-splost-vii-resolution-child-proclamation-and-appointment-lcc-2013-09-10.html\">\r\nthe Lowndes County Commission Regular Session 10 September 2013<\/a>,\r\nor at many another session, for that matter.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nThe invocation included this:\r\n<blockquote>\r\n&#8230;we can gather here and not have to face the fear arrest or threat.\r\nThat we can express our opinions openly.\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/?attachment_id=5654\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"text-align:center;border:none\" src=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/page-threat.png\"><\/a>\r\n<p style=\"font-style: normal\">\r\nI guess Minister Commissioner John Page hasn&#8217;t heard of\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2011\/09\/ashley-paulks-greatest-hits.html\">\r\nAshley Paulk&#8217;s Greatest Hits<\/a>\r\nwhich include\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2011\/01\/paulk-interrogates-noll.html\">\r\na not-so-veiled threat of arrest<\/a> right there in that\r\nsame chamber<!--more-->\r\n<blockquote>\r\n&ldquo;I was the sheriff sixteen years; I locked up some of my best\r\nfriends; that&#8217;s the way I operate.&rdquo;\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\nand\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2011\/06\/return-cameras-or-im-going-to-pursue-it-through-the-sheriffs-office-ashley-paulk-lcc-28-june-2011.html\">\r\nanother one<\/a>\r\n<blockquote>\r\n&ldquo;If I don&#8217;t get those cameras back and the gratuity I&#8217;m going\r\nto pursue it through the Sheriff&#8217;s office.&rdquo;\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p style=\"font-style: normal\">\r\nMaybe Minister Page has forgotten about\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/06\/a-few-citizens-to-be-heard-for-a-few-minutes-only-lcc-2013-06-11.html\">\r\ncurrent Chairman Bill Slaughter making up a rule<\/a>\r\nto stop people expressing their opinions only a few months ago.\r\nLater in the same meeting Page prayed over this time, the Chairman\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/09\/videos-splost-vii-resolution-child-proclamation-and-appointment-lcc-2013-09-10.html#Proclamation\">changed the order of the agenda<\/a>\r\nand\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/09\/videos-splost-vii-resolution-child-proclamation-and-appointment-lcc-2013-09-10.html#Proclamation2\">yet again violated the Commission&#8217;s own ordinance<\/a>.\r\nThat&#8217;s the Lowndes County Commission&#8217;s idea of &#8220;decently and in order&#8221;.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nHere&#8217;s\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=L9l-yoQ1pco&#038;list=PLshUv86fYkiHl4TBpgH7kwljIZWE5qVmE&#038;index=1&#038;t=35\">\r\nthe video:<\/a>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align:center;font-size:80%\">\r\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L9l-yoQ1pco\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\r\n<br>\r\nDecently and in order?
