\nor at many another session, for that matter.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe invocation included this:<\/p>\n

\n…we can gather here and not have to face the fear arrest or threat.
\nThat we can express our opinions openly.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n


\n<\/a><\/p>\n

\nI guess Minister Commissioner John Page hasn’t heard of
\n
\nAshley Paulk’s Greatest Hits<\/a>
\nwhich include
\n
\na not-so-veiled threat of arrest<\/a> right there in that
\nsame chamber<\/p>\n

\n“I was the sheriff sixteen years; I locked up some of my best
\nfriends; that’s the way I operate.”\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

and
\n
\nanother one<\/a><\/p>\n

\n“If I don’t get those cameras back and the gratuity I’m going
\nto pursue it through the Sheriff’s office.”\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nMaybe Minister Page has forgotten about
\n
\ncurrent Chairman Bill Slaughter making up a rule<\/a>
\nto stop people expressing their opinions only a few months ago.
\nLater in the same meeting Page prayed over this time, the Chairman
\nchanged the order of the agenda<\/a>
\nand
\nyet again violated the Commission’s own ordinance<\/a>.
\nThat’s the Lowndes County Commission’s idea of “decently and in order”.\n<\/p>\n
