\r\nTEPCO\r\n\r\nthat lied about deadly levels of radiation at Fukushima<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nis part of the industry\r\n\r\nSouthern Company CEO Tom Fanning brags about<\/a>\r\nas producing\r\n

\r\n“nuclear power as a clean, safe, affordable solution for this\r\nworld’s energy future”.\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nSO and Georgia Power are building two new nukes at Plant Vogtle on the\r\nSavannah River, including\r\n\r\nparts by Korea’s document-forging Doosan<\/a>.\r\nForging as in lying, as in what the Korean press is now calling\r\n\r\nthe Korean nuclear mafia<\/a> of power companies, vendors, and testers.\r\nStateside\r\nU.S. NRC\r\nis refusing to supply Congress with safety documents<\/a>.\r\nAnd when I asked NRC if they were going to take account of Doosan\r\nin their\r\n\r\nwebinar about foreign ownership of U.S. nuclear reactors<\/a>\r\nNRC staff told me Vogtle was an unbuilt reactor and they were only dealing\r\nwith existing power reactors.\r\nWhich is very strange, considering their Commission Direction<\/a>\r\nexplicitly refers to unbuilt and not-even-permitted Calvert Cliffs 3\r\nin its subject.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nAnd considering Doosan’s online map of its customers includes\r\nnot only six not built yet,\r\n\r\nVogtle 3,4, Summer 2,3<\/a>,\r\nDuke Energy’s Levy County 1,2 (since\r\n\r\ncancelled<\/a>),\r\nbut also nine operating nuclear power reactors,\r\nEntergy’s\r\n\r\nWaterford 3<\/a> (west of New Orleans; remember the dark Super Bowl?),\r\nTVA’s\r\n\r\nSequoyah 1<\/a> and 2<\/a> near Chattanooga and\r\n\r\nWatts Bar 1<\/a> near Knoxville\r\n(all\r\nwithin 500 miles of here<\/a>) plus\r\nEntergy’s \r\nIndian Point 2<\/a> and 3<\/a> near New York City and\r\nArizona Public Service’s\r\n\r\nPalo Verde 1,2,3<\/a> near Phoenix, Arizona.\r\nWith Vogtle 2 and 3, that’s fifteen reactors in the U.S.\r\nsupplied by document-forging Doosan.\r\nOK, 13 now that\r\n\r\nLevy County 1 and 2<\/a> won’t be built.\r\n

\r\nHow about we say the same soon about Vogtle 3 and 4?\r\nThat they won’t be built?\r\nProbably Georgia Power CEO Paul Bowers could say that.\r\nGA PSC, Georgia legislature, or SO CEO Tom Fanning could say that.\r\nWe’re listening.\r\n
