\nAug. 20: LMIG Work Continues Today.\n\n<\/a>\nThe street resurfacing made\npossible through a\n\nLocal Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG)<\/a>\nwill continue Aug. 20 with the removal and replacement of curb and\ngutter on a dozen designated streets in the city. \nStreet Resurfacing \u2014 The street resurfacing made possible through\na Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) will begin the\nweek of August 20th with the removing and replacement of curb and\ngutter in designated areas with road resurfacing to begin on August\n27th.  This work will take approximately five weeks to complete\n(weather permitting) and will consist of curb and gutter repair (if\napplicable), base repair, milling of existing asphalt, leveling,\nroot removal new asphalt road course and other related work. \nMotorists should use extreme caution and pay close attention to\nboth vehicular and pedestrian traffic while driving in these areas.\nReames and Sons Construction Company will be working in the areas\nlisted below during the five week period.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
