\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nThe\r\n\r\nbig item<\/a> was a public-private partnership for units to be rented only to\r\nmilitary personnel, built on top of the same soil as has a sinkhole\r\nnext door.\r\nThey also approved a no-bid contract for\r\na drinking water treatment plant upgrade<\/a> near the Alapaha River,\r\nplus another no-bid contract for Lovell Engineering, for \r\nwastewater treatment<\/a>.\r\nAnd they’re so confident SPLOST VII<\/a> will be approved\r\nby the voters (even though they never held a town hall or public hearing)\r\nthat staff is going to ask the state\r\n\r\nto continue collections in January<\/a>;\r\nplus Gretchen pointed out that<\/a>\r\nif citizens knew what was in SPLOST they might be more willing to vote for it.\r\nIncluding maybe even\r\nthe woman who noted<\/a> that since garbage trucks\r\nare coming down her road it needs to be fixed.\r\n

        \r\nAs we already knew, it had been withdrawn.\r\nSo County Planner Jason Davenport said there was no action to be\r\ntaken and they took none.\r\nBackground\r\n\r\nat the Planning Commission<\/a>.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

      2. \r\n\r\nREZ-2013-09 Moody Housing, Val Del Rd R-1 to Residential PD, LC Water & Sewer, ~64 acres<\/a>\r\n
