\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\n“Officers can’t even entertain guests at the houses they are living in”\r\nsaid a Hahira business man,\r\nat\r\n\r\nthe 13 August 2013 Lowndes County Commission Regular Session<\/a>,\r\nspeaking in favor of\r\n\r\nREZ-2013-09<\/a> for proposed new Moody Housing on Val Del Road.\r\n

\r\nPreviously at the Planning Commission Coombs had\r\n\r\nasked for use of local contractors<\/a>\r\nat this new Moody Family Housing project.\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nBoth at GLPC and at this County Commission meeting Coombs\r\nexpressed concern about what he called that “botched” previous housing\r\nproject.\r\n(Much more detail on Magnolia Grove \r\nhere<\/a>.)\r\nThis time he said he thought the new project would be\r\n“of great economic impact in a time when it is really needed”.\r\nWhat happened to his concerns about use of local contractors?\r\n<\/p>\r\n
