\r\nThat pipeline that starts in \r\nPCB-polluted Anniston, Alabama<\/a>, where would it cross Lowndes County?\r\n

\r\nTwo routes, one north to south, another from Brooks County southeast\r\nto the Florida line.\r\n

\r\nOn \r\n\r\nthis google map<\/a>,\r\nA is the land mentioned in\r\n\r\nMassive pipeline project may cross Lowndes, by Jason Schaeffer, VDT, 30 June 2013<\/a>,\r\nB, C, and D several of the parcels listed in the\r\n\r\nletters Sabal Trail Transmission LLC sent Lowndes County<\/a>\r\n(another is very near D).\r\nThey all form pretty much a straight line north to south.\r\nThe actual route probably doesn’t go through downtown Valdosta;\r\nthat’s just where google maps guesstimated road directions.\r\nWhere does would it go?\r\nWe don’t know.\r\nMaybe we should.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\n

\r\nAnd E is the location from the\r\nslightly later letters<\/a> to Lowndes County\r\nthat included the map with two path options.\r\nE appears to be on the path of Option A while A-D are on the\r\npath of Option B.\r\nAnd Option A on the map seems to come in from Brooks County,\r\nwhich explains why I hear a lawndowner in Brooks County say he\r\nalso got such a letter.\r\n

\r\nMaybe some of our elected or appointed officials could do this\r\nexercise and plot these paths for us?\r\nMaybe they could even insist that Sabal Trail Transmission\r\npublish a real map showing the actual proposed paths?\r\n
