\r\nGeorgia APME Newspaper Award Winners<\/a>.\r\nThat was for circulation less than 10,000, and not many others were competing.\r\n\r\nIn the VDT’s class, circulation between 10,000 and 40,000,\r\nThe Times (Gainesville) and the Athens Banner-Herald each won 17,\r\nMarietta Daily Journal won 9,\r\nRockdale Citizen won 1.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
\r\nSo apparently the VDT came in second last in its class,\r\nand has lost its award-winning reporter and its award-winning photographer.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
