Upon sensing the\r\ndisturbance, the unit performed as designed and automatically went\r\noff line to protect equipment. Unit 1 was unaffected and continued\r\nto generate power.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\n&#8220;Staff report&#8221; (transcription of PG&amp;E PR) same paper 4 July 2013,\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sanluisobispo.com\/2013\/07\/04\/2571946\/diablo-canyons-unit-1-back-online.html\">\r\nDiablo Canyon&#8217;s Unit 1 back online<\/a>,\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nrc.gov\/info-finder\/reactor\/diab1.html\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nrc.gov\/info-finder\/reactor\/diab.jpg\"><\/a>\r\nOne of Diablo Canyon Power Plant&#8217;s reactors, shut down June 26\r\nbecause of a minor safety concern, was brought back online July 4,\r\naccording to PG&#038;E.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nA minor leakage found on a section of pipe inside the containment\r\nbuilding for Unit 1 was the reason for the June shutdown.
