\r\nIt’s upstream of much of the U.S.\r\nside of the Great Lakes, and you can participate in the hearing\r\nwithout having to go to Canada.\r\nIt may be a thousand miles from here, but stop one there and\r\nmaybe stop one here.\r\nYou wouldn’t want a nuclear waste dump on the Altamaha or Savannah River,\r\nwould you?\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nSurely the question that comes to many is why on Earth would anyone\r\nin their right mind consider the shores of Lake Huron for the first\r\npermanent nuclear dump in North America? Lake Huron sits to the\r\nnorth of Lakes St. Clair, Erie and Ontario and the water of this\r\nlake flows southward and eastward, eventually connecting to the\r\nAtlantic Ocean through the St. Lawrence Seaway.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n
