    \r\nAt\r\n\r\nthe Work Session<\/a>\r\nthey skipped this item entirely, and at this Regular Session\r\nChairman Bill Slaughter made it clear he didn’t want any amendments, just\r\na motion to approve, and that’s what he got.\r\nThey approved unanimously, of course.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

        \r\nSurprise!\r\nThey unanimously reappointed former Chairman Ashley Paulk to VLPRA.\r\nAs\r\n\r\npointedly indicated by Chairman Bill Slaughter the previous morning<\/a>,\r\nthere were absolutely no questions.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

        1. \r\n<\/a>\r\n\r\n\"Part<\/a>\r\n\r\nRenaming George Road (CR #105)<\/a>\r\n

          \r\nThis time County Engineer Mike Fletcher said the residents\r\nwanted to rename George Road to be Caney Branch Road after\r\nCaney Branch, “a small creek that runs through this area, localized”.\r\nbecause, well,\r\nsee\r\n\r\nthe separate post<\/a>.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

        2. \r\n\r\nBeer, Wine, and Liquor License — 1019 Entertainment Group, LLC — 2375 US HWY 84 <\/a>\r\n

          \r\nFinance Director Stephanie Black said is the former location of Vegas,\r\nand since the application was made there had been a fire.\r\nGeorge Small of 2092 South Sherwood Drive spoke for,\r\nsaying they’d have it fixed up soon after the fire.\r\nCommissioners had no questions for the speaker,\r\nbut Commissioner Marshall did ask for an update\r\nfrom the Fire Chief.\r\nChief Guyton said there had been no request for a fire inspection.\r\nNobody spoke against.\r\nCommissioner Page moved to table until all inspections had been passed.\r\nMarshall seconded.\r\nUnanimous approval.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

        3. \r\n\r\nBeer License — Big Al’s — 4991 Hwy 41 S., Lake Park <\/a>\r\n

          \r\nNobody spoke for or against.\r\nNo questions.\r\nUnanimous approval.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

          2. \r\n\r\nSection 5311 Rural Transportation Operating Contracts <\/a>\r\n

            \r\nThe contract is with GADOT, and\r\nthe contractor is MIDS, Inc.;\r\nsee\r\n\r\nseparate post<\/a> for number of trips, buses, and dollars.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

          3. \r\n\r\nGrant Application for Services-Training-Officers-Prosecution (S.T.O.P) Violence Against Women \r\nand Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP)<\/a>\r\n

          4. \r\n\r\nService Contract for the Mobile Data Terminals<\/a>\r\n

            \r\nCommissioner John Page moved to approve all four 911 items (defg) at once.\r\nChairman forgot to call the vote, then came back and did that, with\r\n\r\nunanimous approval<\/a>.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

          5. \r\n<\/a>\r\nApprove the Motorola Service Contract for the Public Service Radio System\r\n
          6. \r\n<\/a>\r\nApprove the Service Contract for the Liebert UPS’s at the 4 Tower Sites\r\n
          7. \r\n<\/a>\r\nApprove the Service Contract for the Liebert UPS at the 911 Center\r\n
          8. \r\n\r\nVideo Arraignment for Juvenile and Magistrate Court<\/a>\r\n

            \r\nIT Director Aaron Kostyu said video would save the courts\r\na lot of time and money;\r\nsee\r\n\r\nseparate post<\/a>.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

          9. \r\n\r\nEnterprise Backup and Storage Solution<\/a>\r\n

            \r\nCommissioner Page wanted clarification as to how things were backed up now.\r\nAaron Kostyu said currently the 70 servers were each backed up manually,\r\nand this solution would automate that, plus non-critical data now not\r\nbacked up would also be backed up.\r\nPowell moved, Page seconded, unanimous approval.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

            1. \r\n\r\nFencing for the Clyattville Water Tower<\/a>\r\n

              \r\nAll bids were rejected.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

            2. \r\n\r\nNew Pavilion at North Lowndes Recreation Park<\/a>\r\n

              \r\nKari Sands read a description of SPLOST V funding for a metal pavillion.\r\nShe recommended approval of a bid by Keller Construction for $52,292.\r\nShe didn’t mention any other bids.\r\nThey unanimously approved it.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

            3. \r\n\r\nReports-County Manager<\/a>\r\n

              \r\nThere were no reports.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
