\nFewer speakers at the Regular Session\nthan at the\n\nprevious morning’s Work Session<\/a>\nof the Lowndes County Commission.\nThe longest item was\n\na citizen wishing to be heard,<\/a> who only spoke for 3 and a half minutes.\nUp until then, the meeting took five minutes, as the Chairman noted.\nAnd everything was adopted unanimously, with little or no discussion.\n<\/p>\n

      1. \n\nBevel Creek Lift Station Repair<\/a> \u2014Mike Allen\n
        \nThe total for the wastewater lift station\nwas still $38,969 with the budget impact being\nthe insurance deductible.\nUnanimously approved.\n<\/li>\n
      2. \n\n<\/a>\n\nDell Lease Agreement for Sheriff’s Office Laptops <\/a> \u2014Aaron Kostyu\n
        \nSix years ago the Sheriff’s Dept. leased some laptops;\nplan was always to roll new laptops into the lease;\nthat will be done using drug seizure funds.\nUnanimously approved.\n<\/li>\n
      3. \n<\/a>\nContract with Corporate Health Partners\n
        \nCounty Manager Joe Pritchard said they had started looking\ninto wellness plans several years ago,\n$260,000 in savings in health care expenses so far;\npartnership with SGMC and YMCA.\nCommissioner Joyce Evans wanted to know how regularly\nit would be monitoried.\nAnswer: quarterly.\nCommissioner Richard Raines moved to approve\n        \nCorporate Health Partners<\/a>,\nexcept instead of a three year contract,\nan initial one year with two one-year extensions.\nUnanimously approved.\n<\/li>\n
      4. \n\n<\/a>\n\nAgreement with Basic Life <\/a>\n
        \nJoe Pritchard alluded to\n        \nyesterday’s presentation from Chris Park(? Clark?)<\/a>\nrecommending a change to basic life coverage,\nwith an approximate annual savings of slightly over $10,000.\nUnanimously approved.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      5. \n<\/a>\nReports-County Manager\n
        \nJoe Pritchard had no report.\n<\/li>\n
      6. \n<\/a>\nCitizens Wishing to be Heard Please State Name And Address\n
        \n        \n<\/a>\nChairman Ashley Paulk noted it was 5:35, and then\n\nKen Klanicki spoke<\/a>\nfor 3 and a half minutes, the longest item in the meeting,\nafter which\nthey adjourned.<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
