\nCandidates Forum, 7-9PM today 18 October 2012, at the\n\n<\/a>\n\nRainwater Conference Center<\/a>,\n1 Meeting Place, Valdosta, GA,\norganized by the\n\n<\/a>\n\nHome Builders Association of South Georgia<\/a>\nand\n\nNewsTalk105.9 WVGA<\/a>,\nmoderated by Chris Beckham.\n<\/p>\n

\nThis thing is astonishingly poorly advertised,\nunless you happen to follow one of the organizing organizations.\nIt’s not in the VDT calendar<\/a>,\nit’s not on\n\nthe conference center’s calendar<\/a>,\nand people keep asking when and where is it.\nNow you know.\n<\/p>\n

\n\n<\/a>\nHere are\n\nvideos (from three different cameras) of all the candidate presentations<\/a>\nof the\n2 October 2012 Meet the Candidates event at VSU.\nTonight, if I understand correctly from there being a moderator, they debate.\nPresumably all the same candidates will be there:\n\n\n

\nProbably somebody will speak for\n\nSPLOST VII.<\/a>\nWill someone debate against it?\n<\/p>\n

\nMaybe somebody will be brave enough to speak for the charter school amendment,\nor, even better let’s see a debate on that bogus monstrosity that\n\nwould let an unelected Atlanta committee take our local school tax dollars\naway from our public schools and give them to charter school profiteers from\nout of state!<\/a>\n<\/p>\n
