\nYou can hear starting with the third of those last, but
\nyou can’t hear the few potential appointees for KLVB, VLCCCTA, ZBOA, because
\n
\n<\/a>
\nthe county’s sound system
\nwas out (due to a consultant or lightning, depending on who you ask)
\nand Gretchen didn’t notice and go to the camera’s mic until a few minutes in.<\/p>\n

They did talk about
\nfixing the sewer force main that spilled into the Withlacoochee River<\/a>.
\nNothing was said about

\nthe exclusive franchise for solid waste services<\/a>.

        \nCounty Manager Joe Pritchard said Commissioners had a letter of resignation
        \nfrom Bob Montgomery from VLCCCTA and a letter (he didn’t say who from)
        \nrecommending Molly Deese to replace Montgomery.

        \nOf course, the Commission could just put the names of applicants
        \nin the agenda, and they could put written applications for same
        \n
        \nonline with the agenda like Effingham County, with half the population

        \nThe Director of the South Georgia Regional Library System, Kelly Lenz,
        \nintroduced three applications to be appointed to the Library Board.
        \nThey spoke (even though we can’t hear them).
        \nWe also can’t hear their names, and the county hasn’t seen fit to
        \nprovide them, neither in the agenda nor elsewhere online.<\/p>\n

          \nForce Main Break Repairs <\/a><\/p>\n

          \nThis appears to be the repair for the
          \n
          \nrecent county sewer spill into the Withlacoochee River<\/a>.
          \nAs is the county way, there was no discussion of a longterm plan,
          \nonly “a very needed hasty repair” as County Manager Joe Pritchard put it.\n<\/p>\n

          \nBevel Creek Lift Station Pump Repair<\/a><\/p>\n

          \nSeveral Commissioners had questions about price (typical), life expectancy (6-10 years), subdivisions, etc.
          \nAmusingly, the Chairman kept trying to move on but Commissioners
          \nkept asking questions.
          \nThat’s an improvement.
          \nSince every other Commissioner asked at least one question, the Chairman
          \nfinally asked Commissioner Evans if she had a question.
          \nShe didn’t.\n<\/p>\n<\/ol>\n
