\r\nADS just bought a company called At Your Disposal, Inc.\r\nThat’s interesting, because just six weeks ago\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\n\r\nState Sen. Tim Golden’s fraternity brother Steve Edwards<\/a>,\r\nAtlanta Sales and Marketing for Advanced Disposal Systems (ADS),\r\nsaid he didn’t forsee any additional acquisitions.\r\nAdditional after\r\n\r\nADS’s purchase of Veolia six months ago<\/a>,\r\njust after the Lowndes County Commission chose\r\nVeolia’s highest bid for waste collection,\r\nwhich was\r\n\r\nnot as high as its soon-to-be-parent-company ADS’s bid<\/a>\r\nfor the same service package.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nMINERAL BLUFF, Ga., (June 4, 2012) — Advanced Disposal\r\nServices Inc., a regional integrated environmental services company,\r\nthrough its wholly-owned subsidiary, has acquired the assets of At\r\nYour Disposal, Inc. The purchase further expands the company’s\r\nfootprint in the North Georgia marketplace.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n“Acquiring At Your Disposal presented an excellent opportunity for\r\nus to grow our commercial business in North Georgia by strengthening\r\nour density and efficiencies,” said Advanced Disposal’s Regional\r\nVice President Charlie Gray. “We look forward to providing\r\ncomprehensive waste and recycling solutions to the 326 new customers\r\nwho our team will now service.”\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nAt Your Disposal, Inc., located in Toccoa, Ga., began providing\r\ncommercial front-load waste services in 2005. Owner Ken Van Byssum\r\nwill join the Advanced Disposal team, and the newly acquired\r\ncustomers will be serviced from Advanced Disposal’s existing\r\nfacility located on Lakewood Highway.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
