It&#8217;s very, very important for<br \/>\nus,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;This park allows this to happen.&rdquo;\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe FedEx building will include a 100-kilowatt solar array that will<br \/>\nbe integrated into the design of the structure. Those solar panels<br \/>\nare expected to generate 1 million kilowatt-hours of electricity<br \/>\nduring the term of the company&#8217;s lease, reducing the company&#8217;s<br \/>\nconsumption of fossil fuels by the equivalent of 80,000 gallons of<br \/>\ngasoline, Montante said.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\nIf Buffalo, a thousand miles to the north with much less sun,<br \/>\ncan do this, we can, too.<br \/>\nMaybe if we did this, maybe in some of VLCIA&#8217;s industrial parks,<br \/>\nmaybe it would attract more businesses&#8230;.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n -jsq<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How many of the distribution centers here have solar panels on top?
