\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nLocal newspaper videos local government and puts it on YouTube!\r\nThey have city council, county commission, board of education\r\nsince September last year.\r\nIt’s the\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\n\r\nLanier County Advocate<\/a>,\r\nvideoing the\r\n\r\nLakeland City Council<\/a>,\r\nthe\r\n\r\nLanier County Commission<\/a>, and the\r\n\r\nLanier County Board of Education<\/a>, plus\r\nthe\r\n\r\nLanier County Historical Society<\/a>\r\non their\r\n\r\nYouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

\r\nAbout LanierCountyAdvocate\r\n<\/H3>\r\nWe are a weekly paper that comes out every Wednesday. Our purpose is to\r\nserve the citizens of Lanier County by keeping them informed on events\r\nand issues related to the community.\r\n

\r\nNope, not the mighty VDT (too busy having\r\n\r\na junior high school catfight<\/a>\r\nwith the City of Valdosta) and not the City of Valdosta\r\n(too scared people might see citizens talking to them)\r\nnor in Lowndes County (even though it bought all the necessary\r\nvideo equipment when it built the county palace, and demonstrated\r\nlast December that it knows how to use it),\r\nhey, in Lowndes County the public’s business,\r\nlike those Commissioner and Council packets, is only for old boys,\r\nnot for the people who elected them and pay their taxes!\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nFor comparison, the population of Lanier County is about 10,000,\r\nwhile the population of Lowndes County is about 111,000.\r\nWhich to you looks more like\r\n\r\na transparent forward-thinking community<\/a>?\r\n<\/p>\r\n
