Officer,\r\nwho included a letter (text below) in which he recites\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2012\/07\/why-energy-matters-to-you-thomas-a-fanning.html\">\r\nhis usual list<\/a> of energy sources, in his usual order:<!--more-->\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\r\nnuclear (while\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/04\/fire-at-plant-vogtle.html\">\r\nVogtle Unit 1 just had a fire, Unit 2 has been down for a month<\/a>,\r\nUnits 3 and 4 are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/03\/from-15-to-19-months-late-plant-vogtle-nukes.html\">19 months late and a $ billion over budget<\/a>,\r\nand\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/03\/even-the-smallest-amount-of-tritium-can-have-negative-health-impacts-and-most-nukes-leak-tritium.html\">\r\nHatch is leaking radioactive tritium into our groundwater<\/a>),\r\n<li>\r\ncoal\r\n(as in the\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/03\/188-billion-on-kemper-coal.html\">\r\n$1.88 billion and more Mississippi Power will charge ratepayers for Kemper Coal<\/a>),\r\n<li>\r\nnatural gas\r\n(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2012\/12\/fake-fracking-reports-professor-and-institute-head-quit-other-institute-disbanded.html\">\r\nnot so good for academic integrity<\/a>, not to mention groundwater, and\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/03\/fracking-north-georgia.html\">\r\ncoming soon to north Georgia<\/a>),\r\n<li>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/03\/nj-1-gw-solar-ga-22.html\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\" src=\"http:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8230\/8597007467_7d716453c0_n.jpg\"><\/a>\r\n&#8220;renewables&#8221;\r\n(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2012\/12\/financing-solar-energy-georgias-special-problem.html\">while SO and Georgia Power prop up the antique 1973 Territorial\r\nElectric Service Act, making solar financing difficult<\/a>),\r\n<li>\r\nefficiency\r\n(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2012\/07\/will-electricity-demand-increase.html\">\r\nwhile Fanning and SO ignore reports from Georgia Tech<\/a> that with efficiency\r\nGeorgia wouldn&#8217;t need any new energy).\r\n<\/ul>\r\nPerhaps some stockholders would like to suggest a different order.\r\nOr we could sit and wait while SO and Georgia Power keep Georgia\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/03\/nj-1-gw-solar-ga-22.html\">\r\nway behind New Jersey<\/a> and\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2013\/02\/denmark-beats-georgia-powers-20-year-plan.html\">\r\nDenmark<\/a> in solar power.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<blockquote>\r\nDear Fellow Stockholder:\r\n<p>\r\nYou
