there.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nThey\r\n<a href=\"#ZBOA\">\r\nappointed John &quot;Mac&quot; McCall to ZBOA<\/a>.\r\nThey revised the\r\n<a href=\"#Alcohol\">\r\nalcohol ordinance<\/a> with some unspecified &quot;changes to the fee schedule&quot;,\r\nand added another alcohol restriction to the\r\n<a href=\"#REZ-2012-18\">Lake Park rezoning<\/a>\r\nbefore approving it.\r\n<p>\r\nThey approved the\r\n<a href=\"#Waste\">\r\nsolid waste ordinance<\/a> and granted a waste collection monopoly to\r\n<a href=\"#ADS\">\r\na company from New York City<\/a>\r\ndespite all known public input being against it.\r\nTwo\r\n<a href=\"#Gates\">more people<\/a>\r\nspoke\r\n<a href=\"#jsq\">against it<\/a>\r\nin Citizens Wishing to Be Heard.\r\n<p>\r\nGretchen Quarterman <a href=\"#Gretchen\">recommended adding\r\nall the appointed Boards and Authorities<\/a> to the county&#39;s calendar.\r\n<p>\r\nCommissioners accepted applicant&#39;s withdrawal of\r\n<a href=\"#REZ-2012-17\">\r\nthe rezoning request near Moody AFB<\/a>\r\nand tabled indefinitely the related\r\n<a href=\"#MAZ\">\r\nzoning code amendment<\/a>.\r\nThey\r\napproved rezoning for the\r\n<a href=\"#Dollar General\">Naylor Dollar General<\/a>.\r\n<p>\r\nCommission approved <a href=\"#Lighting\">four Decorative Lighting Special Tax Districts<\/a> (forgetting it was supposed to be a <a href=\"#Lighting2\">\r\npublic hearing<\/a>),\r\nand <a href=\"#River North\">a refund<\/a> for one that wasn&#39;t.\r\n<p>\r\nDanny Weeks got approved <a href=\"#netclock\">a new netclock<\/a>\r\nand <a href=\"#911phone\">new phones<\/a> for the 911 center,\r\nand he and his staff <a href=\"#911Award\">got an award.<\/a>\r\nThe <a href=\"#Library\">library railroad<\/a> continues,\r\nthe <a href=\"#Bonds\">bonds renegotation<\/a> was approved with\r\nabout $2 million savings and some legal questions,\r\nthe <a href=\"#Annex\">Annex has asbestos<\/a> but they&#39;ll deal with it,\r\nand <a href=\"#Paulk\">after Friday&#39;s demolition ceremony<\/a>\r\nthere will be a going-away reception for Chairman Paulk,\r\nand Bill Slaughter will be the new Chairman.\r\n<p>\r\nYou missed all that guarantee of occupance of the site.\r\nThe residents of Naylor and we the rest of the voters didn&#39;t get to see\r\neither of those documents.\r\nCommissioners unanimously approved the rezoning.\r\nAt least Dr. Richard made the developer bother to show up and address\r\nthe marketing study question, which hadn&#39;t happened at the Planning Commission;\r\nsee\r\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2012\/12\/videos-lcc-2012-12-10.html#Dollar General\">previous post.<\/a>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<li>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=q_8gbCHkDS4&amp;list=PLshUv86fYkiGEQA8qIFvOoqMwo37n3fVR&amp;index=11\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\" Session.<\/a>\r\nCommissioner Richard Raines moved to table:\r\n<\/p>\r\n<blockquote>\r\n&#8230;until a later date when we can more thoroughly review the MAZ and present\r\nall of the proposed changes at one time.\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p style=\"font-style: normal;\">\r\nPerhaps the Commission will deign to present the proposed changes\r\nto the public, perhaps in a public hearing for public input,\r\nperhaps before voting on them.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-style: normal;\">\r\nCommissioner Joyce Evans seconded, adding an amendment saying:\r\n<\/p>\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>we would like the County Manager to look at this so we can expedite\r\nthis some time in the next year.\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p style=\"font-style: normal;\">\r\nCommissioners unanimously approved tabling indefinitely.\r\nPerhaps the county staff and Commissioners will do more due diligence\r\nin that long interval they are wisely granting themselves.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<li>\r\n<a
