Watching\n\na video of your speeches to the Valdosta Board of Education (VBOE),<\/a>\nI was astonished to see Brad Lofton say nobody in the room but me\nhad sat down and gotten a presentation from VLCIA!\n

\nBrad Bergstrom has already reminded you that\n\nBergstrom and Seth Gunning sat down with VLCIA months ago.<\/a>\nI hope you weren’t failing to count Dr. Bergstrom\nbecause he wasn’t physically in the same room at the time\nyou made that astonishing assertion.\n

\nAnd what about these people?\n

\n\n<\/a>\n

\nMore\n\nhere.<\/a>\n

\nSitting directly in front of Lofton in those pictures of that June 10th\nmeeting in the VLCIA offices is Pastor Angela Manning.\n

\nI see later in the same video Allan Ricketts contradicts\nBrad Lofton by referring to that very meeting that I organized on June 10th.\nYet one of Ricketts or Lofton (I can’t see which)\nat the very end of the video claims VLCIA answered every one\nof Pastor Manning’s concerns.\n

\n\n<\/a>\nAs I already pointed out directly to Brad Lofton before<\/em>\nthe VBOE meeting, listening to the VLCIA persuaded Pastor Manning to\noppose<\/em> the biomass plant, organizing\n\na town hall<\/a>\nat which numerous people spoke about the biomass plant, mostly against.\nIn case there is any doubt as to Pastor Manning’s position on the\nbiomass plant, she has since\n\nspelled it out in a letter directly to Brad Lofton:<\/a>\n

\n“I stand with the NAACP, the SCLC, the American Lung Association, and any other group fighting against the bio mass plant.”\n<\/blockquote>\n

\nIn my\n\nabove message to Lofton,<\/a> (sent, once again before<\/em>\nthe VBOE meeting) I listed four unanswered concerns from the\n\nJune 10 meeting at VLCIA.<\/a>\nHe responded by ignoring half of them<\/a>\nand inadequately answering two of them.\nWhen I pointed this out to him,<\/a>\nhe failed to answer any of them<\/a> and asked for\nassistance in recruiting jobs.\nWhen I\n\noffered such assistance<\/a>\nhis\n\nwhole response was<\/a>:\n

\n“We’re moving forward with permits in hand. Have a nice day.”\n<\/blockquote>\n

\nAll the messages cited in the preceding paragraph were exchanged\nbefore<\/em> the VBOE meeting.\nYet Lofton and Ricketts stood up before the VBOE and asserted\nall concerns had been answered.\nIs that how someone acts who is seriously trying to answer concerns\nof the community?\n

\nI do not appreciate Brad Lofton and Allan Ricketts using my name\nto support the misinformation they conveyed in their\nspeeches to the Valdosta Board of Education.\n

\nWhen I first heard about this proposed biomass plant,\nI thought it was green energy.\nAttempts to obtain objective information about plant emissions\nand fuel sources for all the similar nearby plants, together with\nrepeated presentations such as this from Brad Lofton and\nAllan Ricketts, have persuaded me and others to oppose the\nproposed biomass incinerator.\n
