CU-2026-05 Request by Tierra Inman for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the placement of a mobile home in a Single-family Residential (R-6) zoning district<\/a><\/H4>\r\n<p>\r\nGretchen Quarterman spoke in favor, in addition to the applicant.\r\nGretchen also noted:<!--more-->\r\n\r\n\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\nInteresting language bias here. Mobile homes are now called\r\nmanufactured homes, but city staff still use older language.\r\nAffordable housing is an issue in the area.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nYes, there are places where a manufactured home would not fit the\r\ncharacter of the neighborhood. That is not the case on this parcel.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nCity recommended denial. The subject property is located along the west side of Union Road, south of GA Highway 122 West, in Hahira, GA (all or part of Tax Map Parcel 0026 008). \r\n<p>\r\nStaff recommendation was denial. \r\n<p>\r\nThe discussion centered on the shape, size, and proposed access of the parcel(s).
