\r\nDid you know Lowndes County is going to hold two Budget Public Hearings this coming week?\r\n

\r\nOne will be 9 AM Monday morning, after the Work Session.\r\nI found that one on lowndescounty.com<\/a> by googling for it.\r\nMonday is actually June 22 according to every other calendar; nevermind what that notice says.\r\n

\r\nThe other Budget Public Hearing will be 5 PM Tuesday evening, before the Regular Session.\r\nGretchen found that one\r\n\r\nin the Valdosta Daily Times<\/a> via a google alert.\r\n

\r\nThey will both be in the Commission Chambers on the second floor of 327 North Ashley Street, Valdosta, Georgia.\r\n

\r\nI also found what appear to be the slides for these budget public hearings.\r\nThey are\r\n\r\non lowndescounty.com<\/a>, but they are not linked from the web pages for the Finance Department nor the County Clerk nor the County Manager.\r\n

\r\nThey are not in PDF or PowerPoint and they are not downloadable.\r\nSo I took screenshots of each slide, which you can see below.\r\nYou’re welcome.\r\n

\r\nMaybe at some of these Budget Public Hearings or at the\r\nWork Session or the Regular Session<\/a>\r\nwhy these Public Hearings are not more prominently announced.\r\n\r\n\r\n
