\nFor example,\n\nthis one, following up about the Environmental Impact Study<\/a>\nhe requested back at the EPD air quality hearing\n\n(see video of that event)<\/a>.\nHe didn’t get an answer then,\nand at VLCIA’s 6 Dec event he still only got allusions to studies and standards\nthat were not produced.\n

\nYou can see Brad Lofton in that video, listening.\nDid he forget so quickly?\n

\nWhat about \nSAVE’s event at VSU at which Dr. Sammons spoke?<\/a>\nWhat about the well-attended Biomass Town Hall that\nPastor Angela Manning organized?<\/a>\nAnd other events.\n

\nWhat about my question at the 6 Dec 2010 VLCIA board meeting?\n\n\n\n<\/a>\nMaybe Brad Lofton is refering only to nobody after the 6 Dec 2010 event,\nsimilarly to how he used weasel words when at the 29 Sep 2010 Valdosta\nBoard of Education meeting\n\nhe claimed that nobody but me (jsq)\nhad sat down and gotten a presentation from VLCIA, omitting Dr. Bergstrom\nbecause he had left the room before Lofton made that assertion.<\/a>\nMaybe he’s forgotten once again about\n\nthe rather large number of people who have sat down with him<\/a>\nand Col. Ricketts.\n

\nOK, what about when Gary Minchew asserted in the 21 Dec 2010 VLCIA meeting\nthat there had been enough presentations and all concerns about the biomass\nplant had been answered:\nI responded by noting that the carbon debt question had not been answered.\nBack at the 10 June 2010 meeting I organized with interested parties\nin the VLCIA offices with Lofton and Ricketts, they claimed that\n\na stack of powerpoint slides they wouldn’t hand over until the meeting was over\nproved that the plant was carbon neutral.<\/a>\nI pointed out to the board that Lofton had\n\nclaimed they were peer-reviewed evidence<\/a>\nwhen\n\nplainly they were not.<\/a>\n\n<\/a>\nFurthermore, I pointed out to the board that Col. Ricketts had\nearlier in that same board meeting\n\nasserted that there was no local regional study about the carbon debt\nfrom biomass plants<\/a>,\nso VLCIA’s own staff had demonstrated that question remained open.\n

\nNow I don’t have video of that exchange at the VLCIA board meeting,\nbecause I wasn’t videoing while I was speaking or they were responding.\nThis is partly because I’m just an amateur videographer, and partly\nbecause not one VLCIA board member\nhad been willing earlier to comment on camera about Lofton and Ricketts’ biomass or solar presentations.\n

\nIncidentally, Brad Lofton introduced me at that board meeting as\nwith LAKE, the Lowndes Area Knowledge Exchange, so he knows the\ndifference between WACE and LAKE.\n

\nHow about\n\nthe front page Year in Review #2 story in the VDT?<\/a>\n

\nDespite those who continue to say only a small number of citizens are\nconcerned, public forums, comments, letters to the editor, and community\ndiscussion show otherwise. This facility remains of great concern to\nmany, despite assurances from the Industrial Authority that they have\nshown all they need to in the way of safety measures and environmental\nimpact studies to citizens.\n<\/blockquote>\n

\nBrad Lofton offered Dr. Noll\n\nyet another indoctrination session:<\/a>\n

\nI will be pleased to sit down with you at your convenience to discuss the project in detail and provide the information you desire. Seems like a pretty fair offer to me.\n<\/blockquote>\nSeems maybe not so fair to those of us who have been there and not gotten answers.\n

\nBesides, what’s the point of meeting with Brad Lofton if forgets\nquestions raised before his own board?\n
