\r\nAt this morning’s Work Session,\r\nthe Lowndes County Commissioners spent the most time on the\r\n\r\nTelecommunications Tower<\/a> on Rocky Ford Road (5:38)\r\nand on\r\n\r\n6.a. Lowndes County Responsible Dog Ownership Ordinance<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThey vote this evening at 5:30 PM (same day due to Monday being a holiday).\r\nAnyone can speak in the two rezoning Public Hearings,\r\n

\r\nCommissioner Mike Smith was absent this morning.\r\nCommissioner Joyce Evans is still absent due to illness.\r\n

\r\nThey \r\n\r\nended with an Executive Session<\/a> about a potential real estate purchase\r\nand attorney-client privilege about potential litigation.\r\n

\r\nCounty Manager Paige Dukes mentioned in her\r\nReports<\/a>\r\nthat the James Road water main project came out $800,000 under budget.\r\nThose funds can be used for other projects in the vicinity.\r\nShe recommended a change order to work on a water main on Old Clyattville Road.\r\nCommissioner Mark Wisenbaker said to proceed.\r\n
