\nyet they couldn’t discuss it during a regularly-scheduled meeting,
\nnor tell the tax-paying public what’s on the project list?<\/p>\n

      \nCOUNTY ACTION REQUESTED ON: SPLOST IX Agreement<\/p>\n

      \n

      \nHISTORY, FACTS AND ISSUES: On April 23, 2025, Lowndes County met
      \nwith the Cities of Valdosta, Hahira, Remerton, Lake Park and Dasher
      \nto discuss SPLOST IX.\n<\/p>\n

      \nFollowing that meeting, the attached SPLOST IX Agreement between the
      \nCounty and the Cities has been prepared for consideration. Exhibit A
      \nto the Agreement is the lists of county and city projects.\n<\/p>\n

      \nIf approved by the County, the Agreement will be forwarded to the
      \nCities for consideration.\n<\/p>\n

      \nOPTIONS: 1. Approve and authorize Chairman Slaughter to sign the Agreement as presented
      \n
      \n2. Redirect<\/p>\n
