\nMichael G. Noll, \npresident of WACE,<\/a> invited Commissioners Ashley Paulk,\nJoyce Evans, Richard Raines, Crawford Powell to an event about biomass\nissues related to the Valdosta-Lowndes County Industrial Authority\n(VLCIA).\nChairman and former Sheriff Paulk proceeded to interrogate Noll,\nthus turning a simple invitation into front page news.\n

\nListen for yourself, but here are a few quotes from Commissioner Paulk:\n

\n“I’ve allowed y’all the time.”
\n“Certain people affiliated with you, some of your cohorts … have some hidden agendas.”
\n“We have received veiled threats.”
\n“In your column in the Sunday paper you also said you voted us in, you voted us out.”
\n“I was the sheriff sixteen years; I locked up some of my best friends;\nthat’s the way I operate.”
\n“Our ethics are above reproach.”
\n“Are you a registered voter?”
\n“You’re a German national, is that correct?”
\n“I have email here where some of your cohorts, they attack personalities.”\n<\/blockquote>\n

\nAnd of course, what appeared to be Chairmain Paulk’s main point:\n

\n“It\u2019s my job to maintain order in these meetings and the taxpayers pay\nfor these meetings. I\u2019m not going to continue to provide you with a\npublic forum at the county taxpayers\u2019 expense.”\n<\/blockquote>\n
