\r\nThe Lowndes County Commissioners did not repeat\r\n4. Georgia 811 Safe Digging Month Proclamation.\r\nFor that, you’ll need to see the\r\n\r\nLAKE videos of the preceding Work Session<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThere was some Commissioner discussion of the first of the three rezonings,\r\nbut all three breezed through unanimously,\r\nas did everything else.\r\n

\r\nOnce again, the item with the longest discussion, this time 2.5 minutes,\r\nwas\r\n\r\n8.a. Alapaha Plantation Water Treatment Plant New Wells – Water Main Ext.<\/a>\r\n

\r\nCommissioner Scottie Orenstein wanted to know when.\r\n

\r\nAnswer from Utilities Director Steve Stalvey:\r\n“We’re ready to roll” on approval.\r\n

\r\nHe also wanted to know when it would be finished.\r\n

\r\nAnswer:\r\nIt’s a 180-day project. Within 3 or 4 months of completion we will know if we need to do a nanocompression or not.\r\n

\r\nCommissioner Demarcus Marshall asked about the Consent Order.\r\n

\r\nAnswer: I couldn’t make out the answer.\r\n

\r\nPaige Dukes in \r\n9. Reports – County Manager<\/a>\r\nsaid the county’s hurricane debris collection program is finished.\r\n
